EA Games today announced that it has shipped its latest real-time strategy game expansion, Shogun: Total War Warlord Edition. The expansion adds a variety of new features and improvements, including ten new battlefield units, new region upgrades and buildings, and a selection of new scenarios. In addition, the add-on features an all-new enemy--Kublai Khan's Mongol hordes--along with map and scenario editors the let players design and play their own battles.

Shogun: Total War Warlord Edition was developed by UK-based Creative Assembly, and it will soon be available in stores for a suggested retail price of $39.95. The stand-alone expansion does not require the original version of the game in order to play. For more information, take a look at our in-depth preview of the expansion.
