Flappy Bird may be gone, but the craze surrounding the mobile hit continues to grow. Now, Sesame Street has launched its own take on the game called Flappy Bert. You can play the Flash game on the Sesame Workshop website.

Named after the beloved Sesame Street character, Flappy Bert has players guiding the yellow muppet through a city and avoiding multi-colored pipes. When you die (and you will), Bert exclaims "Ernie," referencing his longtime pal from the long-running children's TV show.

The game was created by the Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit educational organization that aims to leverage the "educational power" of media to help children grow.

Flappy Bert is one of many Flappy Bird imitators that has arrived since the game's creator, Dong Nguyen, removed the game from app stores worldwide last weekend because it was too addictive. American rock band Fall Out Boy also created a Flappy Bird-style game called Fall Out Bird.
