Global Star Software has announced the completion of its Palm OS version of Croteam's popular action game Serious Sam: The First Encounter. The Palm version of the game, which is scheduled for release in early December, lets players travel back in time to ancient Egypt to destroy hordes of evil monsters. Players assume the role of Sam "Serious" Stone, and they must fight their way through 15 levels filled with enemies to complete their quest. The Palm OS version of the game includes both color and grayscale versions of the game to accommodate different PDA capabilities.

Serious Sam for the Palm OS will be available in stores in early December for a recommended retail price of $19.99. We've posted some screenshots from the game in the gallery above. For more information, take a look at our full review of the PC version of the game.
