Scrolls hits open beta next week
Next game from Minecraft studio Mojang entering open beta June 3; players can buy game for 13/€15/$20.
Collectible card game Scrolls, the first post-Minecraft game from Mojang, will launch through a paid beta next week. Gamers can grab the game for the PC and Mac on June 3 for 13/€15/$20.
The paid beta for Scrolls was originally intended to launch by the end of April. No reason why given for the delay.
Scrolls will launch in the wake of Minecraft's runaway success. The game has sold over 20 million units across PC/Mac, Xbox Live Arcade, and mobile and has catapulted creator Markus "Notch" Persson to international recognition.
Persson is currently working on the space-focused 0x10c, though its current status is unknown.
