Game developer Saffire will begin providing a peek at its upcoming game Young Olympians, on young-olympians.com, on April 15. The game will release during the summer of 2000 for the Nintendo 64 and the company is planning to branch out onto other platforms as well (although the company would not reveal which platforms those would be). Young Olympians' story revolves around five teenagers who have been provided with mystical powers by the Greek gods to save the world from the son of Hades. Game stages will take place around the world as well as within the Greek underworld.

In addition to the game, Saffire will be introducing the story through other mediums, such as comic books and novels, with TV series and films being discussed as well. Saffire is best-known for the Starcraft: Brood War expansion pack and the console versions of Bio F.R.E.A.K.S. and Rampage: World Tour.
