Running Wild Shifting Developers?

In December videogames.com told you about Blue Shift's driving game Running Wild, a game that at that point was 80 percent finished and set to ship in March. You may have noticed, it didn't. The word on the street, quite literally, is that 989 Studios, formerly Sony Interactive Studios America (SISA), is making an announcement on Wednesday that will address Running Wild's return to consciousness.

Videogames.com tried to contact 989 Studios Tuesday afternoon to confirm, but by press time, it had not returned our calls.

989 Studios is currently working on Twisted Metal 3 and Cool Boarders 3, among many other anticipated games expected in the next year and beyond. Check for details tomorrow.
