Rogue Squadron II is LucasArts' fastest-selling game ever

LucasArts has announced that Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II has been the best-selling third-party game for the GameCube since the console's release. The company cites NPD TRST data in claiming that Rogue Squadron II was the company's fastest-selling game ever.

"We're very happy with the strong initial sales performance of Star Wars Rogue Leader in North America,'' said Mary Bihr, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for LucasArts. "In fact, LucasArts has never sold as many units of a title in so short a period of time. Early indications point to demand for Star Wars Rogue Leader remaining high throughout the holidays and well into the new year.''
