"Fire takes fuel, cold kills the unprepared, food restores health, but everything must be caught, collected, or crafted," reads a line from the DLC's official description posted on Xbox.com. "You start with nothing and must find everything. Challenge friends to your longest survival run and battle to the top of the leaderboards for the title of Ultimate Survivor."
Also included with the Endurance Mode DLC is a new outfit and weapon for Lara.
Further expansions for Rise of the Tomb Raider will include Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch (early 2016) and Cold Darkness Awakened (2016). These two expansions and Endurance Mode are included with Rise of the Tomb Raider's $30 DLC pass or can be purchased individually.
Endurance Mode itself sells for $10. Check out the video below from 2punkrock4you to learn more about the mode.
Rise of the Tomb Raider launched on November 10 for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game has "done well," according to Microsoft, though no official sales numbers have been announced. The game comes to PlayStation 4 and PC in 2016.
