PSA: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 PS4 Multiplayer Beta Starts Today
Everyone who preordered can now play the pre-release beta that features seven maps and three modes.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta has begun.
As announced previously, PlayStation 4 players get to try it first as part of Sony's new exclusivity deal with Activision. The beta runs August 19-23 on PS4, while Xbox One and PC users will get to play August 26-30. The beta, the first Call of Duty public beta in years, will not be held on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
In all cases, you'll need to preorder to guarantee yourself a spot in the beta. You can also win a code from GameSpot.
The beta itself features seven maps and three modes, while more of each may be added later. For a full rundown of what's in the beta, check out this post.
