PS4 NHL 16 Bundle Revealed for Canada

Sony will release a PlayStation 4 bundle themed around NHL 16 in Canada, the company announced today.

The NHL 16 PS4 Bundle will launch in Canada on September 15, the same day the game is released, for $450. As the image below shows, it comes with a PS4 system and a copy of NHL 16.

This isn't the first time Sony and EA Sports have teamed up for an NHL-themed PS4 bundle. Last year, Sony offered a special bundle that came with a system and copies of NHL 15 and Little Big Planet 3.

As mentioned, this bundle is exclusive to Canada, though shoppers in the United States have new Destiny and Star Wars Battlefront bundles to choose from.

You'll also notice that the NHL 16 cover now only features Jonathan Toews. The Chicago Blackhawks star was supposed to be joined by his teammate Patrick Kane, but Kane was dropped from the cover (and all marketing events for the game) in the wake of an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
