Project Zero heads stateside

Tecmo's unique survival-horror game will be making its way to North America.

Comments

Tecmo recently released the PlayStation 2 game titled Zero in Japan and will now bring the game to North America. The unusual survival-horror game will arrive under the name Fatal Frame. In the game, players assume the role of a young girl named Miku, who is searching for her brother inside a haunted mansion. The game plays like other survival-horror games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill in terms of control and camera perspective. The unique twist in Fatal Frame is that the player needs to use a camera and take pictures of the supernatural beings to dispose of them.

No word yet on whether Tecmo plans any tweaks for the North American release. Fatal Frame will arrive this spring.
