Preorder Dying Light From Steam, Get Exclusive Multiplayer Mode "Be the Zombie"

Pre-purchasing Dying Light from Steam will get you a free, additional multiplayer DLC mode called Be the Zombie, developer Techland has announced.

"Be the Zombie is a competitive asymmetric multiplayer mode that lets you invade other players’ games as the Night Hunter – an ultimate zombie with a unique set of deadly skills," Techland said. "By playing as the Night Hunter, you turn into a fast, agile and dangerous predator, whose objective is to hunt down human survivors."

Pre-purchases also come with a free, Steam-exclusive blueprint that will allow players to build a weapon called Punk Queen. The Punk Queen is a crowbar upgraded with every possible upgrade: batteries and wires for electrical damage, lighters for burning damage, acid containers, spikes, and razors. Gordon Freeman would probably have been glad to have one of these when he was making his way through Ravenholm.

Dying Light's release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC was recently moved up to January 27 in North America, January 28 in Australia, and January 30 in Europe and Asia.
