Postal Developer Gets Collegiate Audience
If the Pope can drop in on Fidel Castro to talk religion, why can't Vince Desi talk to college kids about computer games?
Qualifying for the "What's a guy like you doing in a place like this?" award for January 1998 is the upcoming appearance of Vince Desi as a special speaker at the University of Arizona-sponsored Teaching and Technology Conference to be held this coming January 24 in Tucson, Ariz.
Desi, part of the Running With Scissors team that brought us the controversial shooter Postal, is scheduled to discuss computer games (including Postal) and the Wishbone Series, a project he developed for PBS that teaches children how to read.
No, this is not a typo.
