Pool Trick Shot for Prizes is a top-down 2D pool game that features a trick shot mode, alongside the typical pool games of eight or nine ball. Pool trick shot has increasingly grown in popularity over recent years with publicized competitions appearing on television and in other media. Trick shot players set up balls on a pool table in assorted patterns and then attempt difficult or complicated methods of getting the balls into the pockets. Trick shots often include various combinations between the balls or attempting to get multiple balls in the pocket at once.

Although not encompassing the entire game, the trick shot mode sounds the most interesting and does seem to be the focus, since it's a unique way of playing the traditional game of pool. Players will set up trick shots and then try to make them, but will suffer penalties for taking too long to set up and make varying shots. Timing is absolutely of the essence in trick shot competition. There will be an assorted number of possible trick shots that players will need to make in order to earn points and progress through the game.

Pool Trick Shot for Prizes banks on the popular "for prizes" brand, offering competition for small but worthwhile rewards. Presumably the trick shot mode will be the focus of the competitive aspect of the game.
