Pokemon Go "Coming Soon" to Europe and Canada, Launch Trailer Released

The Pokemon Company and Niantic have released the launch trailer for Pokemon Go, the augmented reality mobile game that lets players catch monsters using smart devices.

The two-minute video, which you can watch below, shows people walking around the real world, encountering Pokemon, and throwing Poke Balls to capture them. Other gameplay elements such as battling, levelling up, and incubating Pokemon are also showcased.

Pokemon Go is available now in the US, Australia, and New Zealand. The Pokemon Company has said the game is "coming soon to Canada, Europe, and South America."

Pokemon Go is free, but features microtransaction. Players can purchase coins using real money, and then use these coins to acquire in-game items. Here's what spending real money on Pokemon Go will get you.
