Sony has begun beta testing streaming service PlayStation Now in the US, and a video has appeared on YouTube of Killzone 3 being streamed.

PlayStation Now is booted from the PSN tab of the XMB, and launches into an app designed to resemble the PlayStation Store. The available games at present appear to be Dead or Alive 5, Disgaea 4, Papo & Yo, Killzone 3, Puppeteer, Darksiders II, MX vs ATV: Alive, Ninja Gaiden 3, Shatter, and Shadow of the Colossus.

One the user begins Killzone 3, the service authorizes the user, double-checks the strength of the Internet connection, and then begins streaming the game--it takes just over a minute to reach the game's normal loading menus.

Footage of Killzone 3 in action can be observed from about 3:30 onwards in the 6:52 video.

Sony has said that PlayStation Now, which was announced during CES 2014, will be released in the US this summer. A worldwide rollout date has not been mentioned.
