PlayStation Indiana Jones Cancelled

LucasArts has revealed that the PlayStation version of its upcoming Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine has been canned.

LucasArts has informed GameSpot News that the PlayStation version of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine has been cancelled. The game was originally planned for a release alongside the PC version this fall.

"Yes, it's true that LucasArts will not be moving ahead with Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine for the PlayStation," said Tom Sarris, public relations manager for LucasArts. "Unfortunately, at this time I cannot elaborate further regarding the reasons for the cancellation."

LucasArts was also unable to comment as to whether Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine will make it to any other platforms, such as the Dreamcast and PlayStation2.
