Maybe with that price Ni No Kuni  gets over half a million units sold in USA... Or maybe not.

Last I checked Fatal Frame 1 & 2 was like $2.99 each, no flash sale, and Fatal Frame 3 was $9.99. Anyhow, one could get the first two games for $5.98, that's a better bargain than anything on this current list.

I also heard Digital Devil Saga 2 might be up on PSN soon. As far as the PS2 SMT games are concerned all they need now is the 2nd Devil Summoner game. They currently have Persona 3 & 4, also better than anything on that list. Digital Devil Saga 1 & (maybe) 2. Nocturne and the first of the PS2 Devil Summoner games. Plus Atlus put out Odin Sphere of a while ago. They probably have the best collection of games put on the PS2 classics section of PSN.

Ni No Kuni is a very fantastic game; I still can't beat the final boss though :(

Dragon Age origins, Demons Souls, Ni No Kuni, Mass Effect Trilogy, and Kingdoms Of Amular are great. Only because they're dead cheap and are serious hits. I may consider buying Ni No Kuni for 4.99 since I have yet to open the orginal day 1 copy when it came out. At this rate, I probably won't ever.

The Vita continues to get next to no love from Sony. Come on guys, the system is great, we just need more to play!

Mass Effect trilogy for 15 bucks sounds pretty solid. Never managed to play the 3rd one and would like to play through them all. Huge amount of downloading for that I imagine though. Gonna check out Ni No Kuni as well to see if its something I'd enjoy

Uhh bad timing, Mario Kart 8 is already taking up all my time and E3 is just around the corner. Ni no Kuni for 5 bucks sounds like a great deal though.

Shout out for DD:Dark Arisen too, a beautiful, gritty, tough RPG. (If you only play with 1 pawn like I do anyway)

Ni no Kuni is definitely the best of them all; started the game a month ago and i still haven't finished it; great story, quite challenging and alot of content here. I might say it is even one of the most best games I've played on the ps3.

All that talk about how bad ME 3 was made me not want to play it, but at this price I just may give it a go.

@martijnke Ni No Kuni, also the Tales series had a lot of games I liked, but I haven't played Graces F or Xilia.

@Romayo83 Well it's also good news, bad news.  Yes, they are more expensive but they will be on your account forever and let's just say PS3 disc drives don't last forever.

It would be good if Gamespot mentioned in the article which regions the sale was for. It's as if some of these writers don't know that the internet is a global thing and people from other countries use Gamespot.

Lhomity

@chronoschris  It's not. But there will likely be a new sale for EU in the next week or so. The last one is still up on the store, and it was pretty good.

It's only the last 5 minutes that suck, and make little sense.

hoyholyhoy
hoyholyhoy

@jer_1 Well duh the PS4's been out 7 months, there's only like 2 RPG's out for it haha.

lostn
lostn

@chuckles471 @Romayo83 The PS3 itself won't last forever, nothing does. So even though it's on your account forever, you won't be able to play it forever.

But I doubt gamestop was ever selling Ni no kuni for $5 new.

quickshooterMk2
quickshooterMk2

@EcksTheory those 5 mintues should've been climactic

the end to end all endings was the biggest joke in gaming history

it's even more half assed then ubisoft's endings

i feel ripped off, the game is too short compared to 1 and 2.
