Game Arts' Saturn RPG gets a true sequel on the Dreamcast. Screenshots inside.

TOKYO - Grandia came out less than a year ago on the Saturn and got praise from Saturn fans around the world but never quite made the splash that it could or should have (due to the Saturn's dwindling base of users). The game never released in the US because the Saturn was plain dead, and no one picked up the rights to translate it.

Now comes a glimmer of hope. Grandia II has just been announced officially for the Dreamcast, and Game Arts expects to release the game next year. The graphics are all polygonal, with polygon characters as well. There's not a lot of information on the game at this time; however, we'll have a full report tomorrow from the Tokyo Game Show on Grandia II and more.
