Paradox splits

The Swedish developer forms another company, Point Blank Development, and divides its business.

Stockholm-based Paradox Entertainment has announced the formation of a new independent developer, Point Blank Development. According to Paradox, the new company was formed in order to increase profitability and reduce financial risk. Point Blank will focus on the development of games based on the proprietary Valpurgius 3D technology, which is currently being used to develop the tactical action game Warzone Online .

Paradox will be the majority shareholder in the new company, and it will continue to develop its own games. Paradox is currently developing its real-time strategy sequel Warzone Online and its Viking role-playing game Warzone Online .
