PS4 Pro support has also been introduced, though it's not specifically clear how the hero shooter will benefit from Sony's upgraded console.

All you need to do to get the new features on PC is start the Battle.net launcher, which should then trigger the downloading of Patch 1.5. Then you can start the game up and experience the new content. On console, a patch with Sombra should download automatically.

Sombra is a hacker who can disable characters' abilities and make health packs unusable for enemy players. She can teleport with the use of her Translocator, even when it's flying through the air. Her Thermoptic Camo also allows her to turn invisible and increase movement speed until she attacks, uses an ability, or is damaged. You can read more about her here.

The Arcade menu, on the other hand, replaces Weekly Brawls and adds five new game types for players to try out. These include 1v1 Mystery Duel, 3v3 Elimination, 6v6 Mystery Heroes, and 6v6 All Brawls, which is a playlist of Weekly Brawls. It also includes the 6v6 No Limits game type, which allows players to have more than one of each character per team--Quick Play will no longer allow this. The Arcade also offers new Loot Box rewards. You can read more about all of this here.

Patch 1.5 also makes a number of changes, such as allowing Pharah to fly forever, as originally reported by PC Gamer, and making her rocket launcher's minimum explosion damage higher. Additionally, Soldier 76's Pulse Rifle damage-per-bullet has been raised to 20 up from 17. The biggest change, however, is that most Ultimates now cost 25 percent more than they used to, with Mei's increasing an additional 15 percent. You can see the full list of changes here.

We got the opportunity to talk with Overwatch producer Skye Chandler and senior game designer Michael Chu about Sombra starting off as an overpowered character and how the developer fixed her.

Sombra's release comes just a few days before Overwatch's free weekend kicks off. It starts on November 18 at 11 AM PT and lasts until November 21 at 4 PM PT.

[UPDATE] A paragraph on patch note changes has been added.

[UPDATE 2] Added a note about PS4 Pro support.
