Nyko to Support Future Consoles

In addition to NUON support, Nyko plans to release PlayStation2 and Dolphin peripherals.

Hot off the heels of last week's announcement that Interact would be supporting future console platforms, Nyko has now informed GameSpot News that it too has plans to support the PlayStation2 and Nintendo Dolphin platforms with game-controller peripherals and accessories. The company currently has products for the existing Nintendo, Sony, and Sega lines.

Previously, Nyko announced that it would support the NUON gaming technology with peripherals. The NUON technology will be integrated into future DVD players, allowing them to play DVD-based NUON game software in addition to standard DVD movies.

Despite Recoton's (the maker of Interact's peripheral line) announcement of Microsoft's X-Box support, Nyko currently has no existing plans to deliver peripherals for that platform.
