No Fallout 4 news this weekend
Bethesda says it is "not showing/talking about anything" at this weekend's awards show.
Fallout fans hoping to hear about the rumored Fallout 4 at tomorrow night's 2013 VGX awards are out of luck. Bethesda marketing executive Pete Hines said on Twitter, "Bethesda is not showing/talking about anything at VGX. Take deep breaths."
A teaser website--TheSurvivor2999.com--appears to be hinting at an upcoming Fallout-related announcement, though Bethesda has not provided anything official. A countdown clock on the website ends in the middle of next week on December 11.
Though Bethesda has nothing to share tomorrow night at the 2013 VGX, the show promises a suite of exclusive trailers and news for some of 2014's biggest games, including Titanfall, Thief, Quantum Break, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, among others.
The rumored Fallout 4 is believed to be set in Boston, Mass., though is is far from confirmed. The most recent Fallout title was 2010's Fallout: New Vegas, which was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and set in a postapocalyptic Las Vegas.
