On the free update front, new, "high-difficulty" missions will be added in late March, at least in Japan. There are 10 types in all, including some that are compared to a boss rush mode. Following that in late April will be the previously announced player-versus-player multiplayer mode.

Also arriving toward the end of April is the first paid DLC, Dragon of the North, Team Ninja's Twitter account confirmed. It adds new weapon types, scenarios, guardian spirits, stages, characters, and yokai. It be will followed by two more packs, all three of which are included in the $25 season pass.
