Another Legend of Zelda game might eventually come to Nintendo Switch after Breath of the Wild, says the series' producer, Eiji Aonuma.

In an interview with IGN, Aonuma said, "I haven't been able to fully use all of the new features of the [Switch] ... There could be the possibility of another Zelda on Nintendo Switch."

When asked about what a new Zelda game could do differently to build on Breath of the Wild, Aonuma replied, "I think the core element of Zelda gameplay kind of stays the same. There's the main character development as well as characters you meet along the way, and then you learn new things as the character develops.

"With that said I think we could keep all that, and then I do wonder how we can expand from here with that in mind."

Aonuma has previously said the next Zelda game could be multiplayer-focused. The most recent Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, was also centered around multiplayer, though you could also play it with AI teammates.

Link and Zelda's latest adventure, Breath of the Wild, launches on March 3. The game's coming to both Nintendo Switch and Wii U--check out the differences between the two versions here.
