The full list of play modes was also confirmed.

TV Mode is the "typical video game style," with the console connected to a TV, with the Joy-Con controllers attached to the Joy-Con Grip, or using the Pro Controller.

Handheld Mode allows you to take the Switch out of its dock, and attach the Joy-Con controllers to the side, in order to "take it with you indoors, outdoors, or wherever you like."

Tabletop Mode utilizes the Switch's inbuilt kickstand, and detached Joy-Con controllers, allowing one to two players to similarly enjoy games wherever they like.
