NHL Hitz 2002 GC ready to ship

Midway has announced that it will ship NHL Hitz 2002 tomorrow for the launch of the Nintendo GameCube on November 18. Developed by Black Box Games, NHL Hitz 2002 follows in the tradition of Midway's NFL Blitz series and features fast-paced gameplay, rocket goals, and over-the-top hits.

"We feel privileged to have NHL Hitz 2002 launching with the highly anticipated Nintendo GameCube,'' said Helene Sheeler, vice president of marketing at Midway. "NHL Hitz 2002 has changed the hockey video game category, with its delivery of the most intense and exciting aspects of hockey every time you play.''

NHL Hitz 2002 is already available for the Sony PlayStation 2 and will be available for the launch of the Microsoft Xbox on November 15.
