Last weekend in Sydney, Alienware and Dell hosted one of Australia's largest gaming tournaments to date, called the Alienware 2010 Clan Challenge. Out of the initial 128 teams, eight made it through to the finals and were flown to Sydney to compete in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (CoD4), with team Frenetic Array taking home the chalice of victory.

The grand final match between newly formed Frenetic Array and veteran group Archaic eSports saw the two teams battle it out right until the end, with the match going into overtime before a winner was decided. Eventually, Frenetic Array won the match, with all five members of the team walking away with an Alienware Aurora Desktop PC. The weekend's final was the first time that Frenetic Array's CoD4 team had all met face to face.

Those who missed out on the event will be pleased to hear that Dell is already looking at organising future tournaments, but it declined to give away any additional details at this time.

Tune into GameSpot AU's weekly video show--Crosshairs--this week to see footage from the event, as well as interviews with Frenetic Array.
