Hasbro Interactive announced on Monday that the company will release its upcoming wacky arcade-style racing title Stunt GP under its Atari games label. Previously, the title was to be released under Hasbro's MicroProse label.

"Stunt GP has all the hallmarks of a superior arcade-style racing game," said Atari European brand manager Harvey Eagle. "Maximizing the additional capabilities of the Dreamcast console, Stunt GP looks and plays like a dream. It's pick-up-and-play with stunning depth. It's fast-paced and hugely addictive. It's the perfect fit for Atari and demonstrates our commitment to adding top-quality new content titles to the already famous Atari portfolio."

Stunt GP lets you choose from 16 cars and race through 24 tracks. And as in most racing titles you can buy upgrades for your vehicles as you earn money from the races, as well as pick up items along the tracks.

Being developed by the UK-based Team 17, Stunt GP will be released for the PC and Dreamcast in March 2000 in Europe. No release period has been specified for the US yet.
