New Star Trek Strategy RPG Launches Today on Mobile

Star Trek Timelines, a free strategy role-playing game from the makers of Game of Thrones: Ascent, launched today for iOS and Android devices. Get it here on iTunes and Google Play.

An officially licensed game, Timelines comes with "hundreds" of characters from all eras of Star Trek, including icons like Kirk, Spock, Janeway, Worf, Locutus of Borg, and others. You can travel across the galaxy in a range of starships, taking on missions and battling it out with other players.

"We're celebrating Star Trek's 50th anniversary this year by welcoming fans from around the world into the Timelines game community, developer Disruptor Beam's founder and CEO Jon Radoff said in a statement. "We have created a game that will immerse fans in the Star Trek universe like no other game has. And with its deep, story-driven gameplay and stellar graphics, we believe that Timelines is one of the best-looking game experiences on a mobile device today."

Content and characters from the following Star Trek programs are featured in Timelines:

• Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
• Star Trek: Voyager
• Star Trek: Enterprise
• First 10 Star Trek films

Finally, Disruptor Beam pledged that the release of Timelines today marks only the beginning for the game. The Boston-based independent studio will continually update the game with new features, characters, and in-game events.
