Game developer Synaptic Soup has released three new screenshots from its upcoming racing game, Crazy Car Championship. The game is set in a fantasy world made up of a series of floating islands. Players can build and customize their vehicles using a wide variety of strange parts. The range of possible vehicles includes steam-powered hovercraft and quantum-powered hot rods.

Crazy Car Championship uses Synaptic Soup's proprietary Cipher engine, and Nvidia demonstrated the game at the official unveiling of the GeForce3 for the PC.
