New Saturn Games and Panzer RPG Remix?

In an interview, SoA President and CEO Bernie Stolar says that new Saturn games may be on the way - and more.

On the last day of E3, GameSpot News had a brief talk with Bernie Stolar, Sega of America's President and CEO. He told us some interesting things about Dreamcast and Saturn.

We asked him "With the Saturn, there are only a couple more titles left. Why not release more titles for it until the Dreamcast comes out from Japan like Deep Fear and Shining Force Scenario 2 and 3?" Stolar replied, "Those are discussions we're having now. It's a matter of economics, it's a matter of marketing position with the retailers, so those are things we're debating now."

Another item of interest to Saturn owners is what we asked him regarding Panzer Dragoon Saga being remade on the Dreamcast. It's a great game that unfortunately didn't get the kind of exposure or sales that a game of its caliber deserves. Stolar told us, after a long pause, that "Products in development right now are some things I can't talk about right now. Let me just say there's got to be some surprises here. But we do believe that obviously that's a strong title, and I'm also a big believer in RPGs as well. No one ever believes that because I came out of the coin-op side of the business, but I'm an older wiser person these days."
