New Quake III Arena Shots

The Quake III Arena buzz has just gotten substantially bigger.

Earlier this week it was the leak of a hardware test version of id's upcoming title that captivated gamers who nabbed it. Now today - late Friday afternoon actually - id Software has cranked up the buzz factor another notch. It released new screenshots to show gamers what they can expect when the final version reaches retail channels.

Gamers will notice the amazing scene and character complexity. No doubt, this game will be as popular as Quake II. And as always, it looks like a game only the minds at id could create.
