New Midway screens

Hungary-based Mithis Games has just published new screenshots of its technically impressive strategy game Midway. As can be deduced from its name, Midway takes place during World War II and focuses on the Pacific naval campaign of the war between Japan and the United States, though the English and Germans will also be available as playable sides in the game.

The new screenshots depict the destroyer USS Fletcher, which emerged unscathed from the vicious battles of Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands. Not much is currently known about this promising-looking game, but we'll bring you more information as it develops.
