New media: X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse

GameSpot has new screenshots and video from X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. In this classic side-scrolling beat-'em-up, players can pick from their favorite X-Men, such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue, as they go up against Apocalypse's minions in a battle to return to their own dimension. The game will feature two primary modes of play, story and versus. In the versus mode, players will be able to take part in multiplayer games such as deathmatch and capture the flag.

X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse will feature simple leveling-up options, as players will be able to use points accumulated through a particular stage to enhance their characters' damage potential, agility, and special mutant powers. The game is being developed by Digital Eclipse and will be released this summer for the GBA.
