New media: Commandos 2 for the PS2

Eidos has released new screenshots from Commandos 2 for the PlayStation 2. The follow-up to the critically acclaimed PC original, Commandos 2 is a tactical strategy game set in World War II that plays from a top-down perspective. Players may choose between nine different character types to tackle 12 indoor/outdoor missions. The PlayStation 2 version of Commandos 2 will support two players for cooperative gameplay, and an online component is pending the release of the PlayStation 2 broadband and hard drive unit.

Commandos 2 is currently scheduled for release on June 15. We'll have more information on Commandos 2 as it becomes available.
