After releasing a monster-battle clip last week, Warner Bros. has now published a pair of new featurettes for Kong: Skull Island. In the videos, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and some of the main cast, including Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson, talk about what they think will make the movie stand out against those that came before it.

The version of King Kong shown in Skull Island will be the biggest in the history of the series. About the beast, Hiddleston says, "He is truly monstrous; in size, and scale, and scope." Vogt-Roberts adds that he hopes people see Kong as a larger-than-life force. "When people step foot on the island, their first visceral response is to look at that thing and say, 'That's a god.'"

Skull Island comes out on March 10. In addition to Hiddleston and Larson, it features Samuel L. Jackson, John C. Reilly, Corey Hawkins, and John Goodman.

The movie is part of an ongoing monster movie series that kicked off with 2014's Godzilla. The next entry will be Godzilla: King of Monsters, which is expected in 2019. Last month, Krampus director Michael Dougherty was confirmed as director, with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown reported to be part of the cast.

In other news, Skull Island director Vogt-Roberts recently confirmed that his Metal Gear movie is still in the works.
