New Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC Announced, Includes Spirit Train

Nintendo has announced new downloadable content for 3DS title Hyrule Warriors Legends, the Dynasty Warriors spinoff set in its Legend of Zelda universe, which is available today.

The new additions are based on Nintendo DS titles The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

During its 3DS-focused Nintendo Direct, Toon Link was shown battling enemies in the large-scale action game. He was shown wielding the Sand Rod and even uses the Spirit Train in combat. Also showcased is Toon Zelda, who fights as a Phantom.

Nintendo has said it will be discounting existing DLC packs, such as the Legends Character Pack which includes Linkle, the female version of Link, as well as Toon Tetra, King Daphnes, and Skull Kid. Ganondorf's trident weapon is also part of this pack.

The Link's Awakening Pack, meanwhile, has Marin, the musician from the Gameboy classic and the Linkle's Boots weapon.
