New Half-Life Add-on Coming

Another expansion pack for Sierra's Half-Life is currently in development.

Gearbox's Opposing Force started appearing on store shelves sometime last week, and ardent Half-Life fans have undoubtedly already played the expansion pack all the way through. With Team Fortress 2 still six to eight months away, it appears that the flow of Half-Life games has slowed to a trickle.

Cheer up, all is not lost: GameSpot News has learned that another Half-Life expansion pack is currently in development. While details are still sketchy at best, we do know that the game is being developed by Tulsa, Oklahoma-based 2015, the same team responsible for Wages of Sin, the Sin add-on released earlier this year. We contacted company officials to dig up more details on the rumor but were greeted with a stern "no comment." However, one 2015 producer we talked to did say that the company will announce two new products "in early January 2000." Until that time, we'll keep chipping away for more info. Stay tuned.
