Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced a lineup of new artists for its upcoming PlayStation 2 music game Frequency. The game will now include tracks from Paul Oakenfold, drum-and-bass producer Roni Size, the Lo-Fidelity All-Stars, and Fear Factory. Tracks from these artists will be joined by additional songs from Crystal Method, BT, Dub Pistols, DJ Qbert, and Juno Reactor. In addition to the music tracks, the artists will also provide video content that will be shown onscreen to accompany the gameplay experience.

"The amazing lineup of artists in Frequency provides music and video game fans alike with endless hours of energetic and bass-pumping tunes to master and remix," said Ami Blaire, director of product marketing for SCEA. "The rhythmically addictive gameplay will keep players entertained for hours. With the addition of bands like Paul Oakenfold, Fear Factory, Roni Size, and Lo Fidelity All Stars, Frequency will certainly appeal to the mass audience and give gamers the power of taking part in the music revolution through this interactive gaming experience.''

Frequency is being developed by Harmonix and will be released in late November for the PS2.
