New Goat Simulator DLC That Parodies Mass Effect, Star Wars Out Now On Consoles

The sci-fi expansion Waste of Space has arrived.

A new expansion for the wacky sandbox action game Goat Simulator launches today--and it looks like one of the game's silliest yet.

Waste of Space is a sci-fi parody, with the launch trailer featuring nods to Star Wars and Star Trek. You might also spot some connections to Mass Effect, while the video pokes fun at Kickstarter, too.

As a space-traveling goat, you are tasked with rebuilding your base after it's fallen into disrepair. You don't have to do all the work, however, as the official description says players will "crowdfund a space colony and get other people to pay for it and do all the work!" There is also a romancing element, spacesuits to wear, space-bike racing to participate in, and a character named Spocky. The tagline for the expansion is "Make Space Great Again," so there is that, too.

Check out the trailer above to see the Waste of Space DLC in action.

Waste of Space contains the biggest map in Goat Simulator's history. The game's other expansions include GoatZ, Goat Simulator MMO, and Goat Simulator Payday, all of which have added wacky and wonderful maps to explore and things to do.

Waste of Space is available for $5 on PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360, but not Xbox One, apparently, at least not yet. It is already available on PC.
