New Ghost Recon: Wildlands Video Highlights the Stealth Approach

A team of players tries to extract a target in the middle of the night.

Ubisoft has released a lengthy new Ghost Recon: Wildlands gameplay video showcasing a team of four tackling a mission in a stealthy way.

Ubisoft describes this as a variation on the El Pozolero mission we saw at E3, where the team has to infiltrate an outpost, capture an enemy, and then make it out alive. The overall goal is the same, but this time the mission is played at night and done in a less in-your-face way.

The video runs just over 12 minutes, first showing how the team captures a vehicle that allows them to infiltrate the larger outpost where the target is located. We also see how rebels can be freed to create a distraction, as they'll begin fighting with nearby enemies.

Wildlands is an open-world action game where you can play either by yourself (in which case your teammates are controlled by AI that you can give some commands to) or cooperatively online with other players. It's slated for release on March 7, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

We got to go hands-on with the game at E3 and walked away with some reservations.
