New EverQuest game in the works?

Two teaser Web pages registered to Sony Online Entertainment have launched that hint at an unannounced game related to Sony's popular online role-playing game EverQuest. The sites, named after areas found in the online world of EverQuest, both feature concept images, and one includes a brief message that promises an announcement next month. We'll post more information about the game as it becomes available.

EverQuest, which was launched in March 1999, lets players assume the role of a character in a huge online persistent medieval fantasy world. Since the game's launch, Sony Online has released three large expansion packs, each adding new features and areas to the game. EverQuest: The Planes of Power, is scheduled for release this fall.
