New Document of MGS2 details

Konami has opened the official Web site for The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2, a supplementary disc that will feature a number of extras for fans of MGS2. There will be a 3D model-viewing mode, in which players can look at different models from Metal Gear Solid 2, rotate them around, and even adjust the lighting. This mode will also include unused characters. In addition, real-time cutscenes from the game will be featured on the disc, but they can now be viewed from any camera angle and frame by frame. Lastly, The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 will have some supplementary information about the game, such as organization charts, development journals, and more.

The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 is scheduled for release this summer in Japan. A North American release has yet to be announced.
