989 Sports has released some details on its upcoming college basketball game, NCAA Final Four 2004. The major change this year is the addition of online play.

989 Sports' online modes for all its games will go significantly deeper this year, utilizing a centralized login and password between games that will let you track your stats in multiple 989 games. The game's lobby will allow for user-created tournaments, e-mail and messages between users, buddy lists, and the ability to get onto the lobby via your PC's Web browser as well as through the various 989 Sports games. NCAA Final Four 2004 will allow up to four players to play in an online game.

The control and AI in Final Four has been adjusted. You'll be able to use the right analog stick to execute spins, dribble behind your back, and perform other tricky maneuvers. The AI will know to double-team your star players. The game also features 30 new dunk animations.

NCAA Final Four 2004 is currently scheduled to hit stores this November.
