Sponsor of the Talladega 500, EA Sports has announced that developer EA Tiburon's NASCAR Thunder 2004, rated "E," is available now for the PC, PlayStation, PS2, and Xbox.

With AI that reacts to the player's driving style, NASCAR Thunder 2004's grudges and alliances system accents the partnerships or bad blood and feuding that occur in the real-life NASCAR circuit.

Exclusive to the PS2 version is the online gameplay support on EA Sports Nation, as well as online rankings, text chat, and broadband-only EA Sports Talk. PS2 users with a dial-up connection will have the option of hosting peer-to-peer online races.
