Narnia temporarily exclusive to PS2 in Europe

It's pretty much a given that the upcoming The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe film will be everywhere this holiday season. But the same can't be said for the game of the same name. Buena Vista has announced an agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe to make the game based on the film exclusive to the PlayStation 2 in PAL territories from its November release through March 31, 2006. Part of the deal calls for "significant TV and marketing support from SCEE, including online and PS2 bundles across all PAL territories." The agreement doesn't cover PC or handheld releases of the games, nor does it cover any versions released in North America. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be released in American theaters December 9.
