Ubisoft's My Self Defence Coach is due out exclusively for Microsoft's Kinect on November 8 in North America under the name Self-Defense Training Camp, followed by a November 11 bow in Europe. According to Ubisoft, My Self Defence Coach will teach gamers how to react safely to "troublesome" situations and protect themselves from "various forms of physical assault."

The game will achieve this through a series of fitness and martial arts workouts, which are focused on four core areas: technique, stamina, composure, and reflexes. Ubisoft says these techniques will be taught to players by a real-life in-game coach, though the publisher did not name this person outright.

According to Ubisoft, My Self Defence Coach will also help gamers tune their reflexes with a stack of minigames to take part in. Additionally, the game will feature meditative exercises like tai chi, which Ubisoft says will help gamers "remain calm and composed in stressful situations."
