My Nintendo Adds New Game Discounts And Rewards For October

A new month is just around the corner, which means a handful of new rewards have been added to the My Nintendo program. Once again, most of the rewards come in the form of discounts for select 3DS and Wii U titles, and this latest batch encompasses some great recent and classic games for both platforms.

This month, 3DS owners can redeem their Gold points for 30% off of three acclaimed remakes: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World (90 Gold points each). Additionally, 3DS owners can get 50% off of the classic Game Boy Color platformer Wario Land 3 for 150 Platinum points, and 30% off of the fashion design game Style Savvy: Styling Star for 500 Platinum points.

On Wii U, My Nintendo members can trade 400 Platinum points for 20% off of the original version of Yoshi's Woolly World. You can also get 40% off of developer Good-Feel's previous yarn-based platformer, Kirby's Epic Yarn, for 500 Platinum coins. Beyond that, Nintendo is offering 30% off of the original N64 version of Majora's Mask (150 Platinum points) and 30% off of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (400 Platinum points).

Most of the aforementioned rewards will be available until the beginning of January 2019, so you have quite a bit of time to save up if you don't yet have enough My Nintendo points. It also still isn't too late to grab September's featured rewards, which include discounts on Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and other titles.

In addition to those, Nintendo has added a couple of other rewards to the catalog recently. Most notably, fans can redeem 30 Platinum points for a downloadable cover for Xenoblade Chronicles 2's new DLC expansion, Torna: The Golden Country--good if you already own the base game physically. If you want to get into the Halloween spirit, you can also download an NES: Halloween Link theme for your 3DS for 20 Gold points. And as usual, you can use Gold points toward purchasing certain Nintendo Switch games from the Eshop. The full list of rewards can be found on My Nintendo.
