Muscle Car II: American Spirit ships

Global Star Software has announced that Muscle Car II: American Spirit, its latest auto-racing game, has shipped and will soon arrive in stores. The game contains a number of improvements on its predecessor, Muscle Car '76, including more drivers, cars, and courses, as well as improved graphics and a new soundtrack.

Like the previous game, Muscle Car II is intended to appeal to both casual gamers and veteran racers. Players will race 16 cars from the late 1970s through 32 different courses. The game features three game modes, including a career mode in which players can purchase custom upgrades for their cars using the money they receive from winning races.

Muscle Car II: American Spirit was developed by Silver Fish Studios and will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.99.
